Manufacturing

"Jade is obtained from rough stone and then carved into a masterpiece." Similarly, the manufacturing process and the selection of raw materials are equally important. Leveraging over twenty years of experience in teak processing and research, we have established a unique and professional quality control system specifically for Burmese teak, encompassing storage, processing, drying, sun-drying (photosynthesis), and roller coating penetration. In 2011, our product quality and craftsmanship were unparalleled in China.

Moisture Content Control
Humidity and temperature vary greatly across different regions of my country. Solid wood flooring, when exposed to this relatively stable temperature and humidity environment for an extended period, will reach a relatively constant moisture content. At this point, the wood's properties are most stable; this constant value is called the equilibrium moisture content of the solid wood flooring. The equilibrium moisture content of solid wood flooring should correspond to the local average temperature and humidity. Forest Journey produces its products according to the climatic characteristics of different regions, making them closer to the local average moisture content and ensuring better performance.

Many experienced people know that it's best to buy locally produced solid wood flooring. This is especially true for teak flooring, as sun exposure, curing periods, and moisture content control are inherently contradictory. For example, teak flooring produced in southern regions like Guangdong and Yunnan is unlikely to be suitable for northern climates unless it's not exposed to sunlight. However, genuine Burmese teak flooring produced without sun exposure is unusable. Sun exposure, on the other hand, restores the moisture content to near the local average. Using this in northern regions will result in shrinkage, warping, and unevenness. Supplying products to the north requires increasing costs by building moisture-balanced warehouses and employing moisture content control technology. In foreign countries, high-end residences typically have constant temperature and humidity. Exported teak flooring only needs to meet the buyer's moisture content standards, which also necessitates moisture content control technology.
